Vista | Aileen Kavanagh+Rosemarie Langtry at Aras an Chontae, Co. Offaly

8 to 22 December 2017

Vista is an exhibition of new work by two Offaly artists, Aileen Kavanagh and Rosemarie Langtry.  Kavanagh presents a new body of work in which she has developed a deep connection with country-side, sea-scapes and city-scapes. Langtry describes her approach to forming a unique and individual piece, at any one time, as “in the moment”. Hues and forms of the local landscape, rust and found objects combine inspire her creatively to providing an intriguing art form to encapsulate memories from bygone days.
