Freelance Solicitor

Brenda Tobin is a Freelance Solicitor with particular expertise in copyright and intellectual property work. She worked for nine years in RTÉ as part of their in-house legal team, dealing with all aspects of copyright and acquisition and distribution of content. Before joining the Irish national broadcaster, she set up and ran a copyright unit at Thompsons’ Solicitors in London, where she represented the NUJ, sat on the NUJ Copyright Committee and was involved in High Court Litigation. Brenda has also worked as a producer of content and has made several radio documentaries for RTE radio and has had her photographs published in national UK newspapers, magazines and books.
