Miranda Driscoll is the director of the Sirius Arts Centre in Cobh, Co. Cork, where she has been since late 2014. Previous to that she co-founded and directed the Joinery; a not-for–profit project space in Stoneybatter, Dublin 7 which she ran for seven years. She also lectured on the BA(hons) Photography programme at IADT from 2011-2014. She has an MA in ACW from NCAD, Dublin and a BA(hons) in Photography from the Falmouth College of Art, Cornwall. Miranda’s broad ranging curatorial practice has an emphasis on the event, cross-disciplinary collaboration, improvisation and ideas around community; both geographical or ideological.
