I am a photographer based in Clare and currently developing a book project that will feature portraits of Irish artists. I am hoping to present a equal mix of established and emerging artists from all kinds of art forms: Sculpture, painting, photography, etc. Being part of the book would involve an interview and a photo session. Draw a Lego Project

I invite any artists to ‘draw a lego’ in any medium they want for an art exhibition dedicated to Lego in Dublin. It can be anything from a Lego character to Lego toys in a scene. Particularly the old Lego toys from my/our childhood the 90s like Lego paradisa, pirates and castles. I am actually planning to organize it myself and would like to find a venue to host it. To coincide with the campaign to determine Ireland’s favourite painting, this Niland Collection painting shortlisted for RTE’s Masterpiece; Search for Ireland’s Favourite Painting, has been hung for public viewing in our main gallery. Make sure to come down and view the painting in person, and don’t forget to vote! Voting can be done through RTÉ’s Masterpiece website, www.rte.ie/masterpiece or by sending a postcard to RTÉ’s Freepost address. ‘Communicating with Prisoners’ will be next week’s featured piece on The Works, to be broadcast on RTE 1 on Thursday May 03 at 11.30pm. Jonathan Barry Titanic Oil Painting Trilogy

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, artist Jonathan Barry has completed his trilogy of Titanic oil paintings illustrating the dramatic events of the liner’s final hours on 14th and 15th April 1912.
