Studio Available at The Complex

The Complex is run by artists. Since February 2009 it has staged a rich programme of artistic and cultural productions, exhibitions and events in the Dublin 7 area. From our original home in Smithfield Square to Benburb Street, our new permanent premises is located at Little Green Street, next to the old Fruit and Vegetable Market. The new arts centre features nine artist’s studios as well as two performance areas, rehearsal and exhibition space.

The Complex has nine studios, all about 4 metres square, with windows and good natural light. There is also a common area for artists to congregate and a large exhibition space for hire at discounted rates for studio artists.

We currently have a studio available to rent from the start of September.

Oct/Nov Studio Sublet Available at MART, Dublin 6

Bright studio space available to sublet in October and November this year.

Located in MART House Studios, Rathmines Road Lower, Dublin 6, it is a couple of mins walk from the canal.

The studio is in a shared space with 3 other artists, each with a space as big as the one in the photo.

There is a sink in the studio and all furniture in the photo will be there including a printer for your use. All other materials will be cleared.

The studio is in the Basement of the building and is calm, quiet and surprisingly bright due to sky light and lovely high ceilings.

All bills are included and Wifi are included. Rent is €200/ month

Two recent graduates from Limerick School of Art and Design are in the process of setting up a shared studio space in Limerick city centre.

The space they have found will accommodate eight, and are looking for applicants to fill the available spaces.

Artist Studio/Residency Space Wexford Arts Centre

The Wexford Arts Centre is offering residency/rental in one of three studio spaces available in its annexe in Wexford Town.
This application is open to Visual Artists; the Studio Attic Space can be considered also for a writer/performance artist based in Wexford. The studio is offered as a six to nine month residency/ rental from Sept. 2017 – May 2018.

Studio space one- €175 per month Size: 5.45m x 3.06m = 16.7m2, Studio space two – €150 per month Size: 5.4m x 2.16m = 11.77m2
Studio space three – Attic(Suit digital/computer/writing) – €120 per month Size: aprox 4m x 2m = 8m2

The Annexe studios are part of a converted town house adjacent to the Wexford Arts Centre. The studios offer flexible access, include heating, electricity, WiFi, lighting, both electric and natural with parking available at nearby car park at a cost of €3 per day. On the ground floor there is a common area which could be used as an exhibition space; there is also a bathroom on this floor. (2.5m x 4.4m = 10.37m2) The studios are accessible by stairs only. Residents are expected to comply with Wexford Arts Centre’s security and facilities maintenance requirements.

Limerick Printmakers are committed to promoting printmaking as an art form and supporting printmakers by providing a professional open access printmaking studio, exhibition opportunities and education programme.

Limerick Printmakers is a vibrant printmaking studio located in the heart of Limerick city with an inclusive ethos and membership application policy.

They accept members on a rolling basis throughout the year and offer one of the best value annual rates in Ireland. They also offer a range of other membership packages that focus on the individual’s needs and commitments e.g. Student, Associate or 6 Month packages.

Pallas Projects/Studios (since 1996) provides a dynamic and nuturing working environment, based in a converted school building located at the bottom of Francis Street, Dublin 8, just minutes walk from the National College of Art and Design, Christchurch and the city centre. We offer excellent, affordable spaces to both established and emerging Dublin-based artists working in the contemporary visual arts, for periods from 6 months to 3 years.

The studios feature: 24 hour access, off-street location with large communal outdoor area, secure and alarmed, large sash windows with excellent natural light in all studios, high-speed broadband, kitchen facilities, new wiring, and eco-friendly heating and lighting system. Studio members are featured on the PP/S website, which also features current and archived projects from our internationally recognised programme. Richmond Road Studios are currently looking for new studio members. Our secure self contained spaces are approximately 12ft X 14ft and are priced at €130 per month. The studio facilities include 24hour access, parking, internetand communal usage of astudio camera and projector. The Studio is 10 minutes cycle from the O’Connell Street.

Richmond Road Studios is an artist-run studio complex in Fairview, Dublin. Established in 2002 the studios have hosted some incredible emerging and mid-career talent over the years and continues to seek ambitious and exciting artists.

Call for Membership Applications for Graphic Studio Dublin

The deadline is Friday 28 July, 4pm.

Graphic Studio Dublin invites applications for Membership, Open Access and Extended Access. A graduate rate, offered to recent graduates (last 2 years) is a 40% reduction of fees in any of the above forms of Access.

Graphic Studio Dublin facilitates the following print techniques: etching, lithography, linocut, drypoint, carborundum, woodblock, aquatint, photo etching, blind embossing, collography, letterpress and mezzotint. Technical assistance and education of artist members in the above printmaking techniques is core to our ethos. Artist members have access to subsidised studio facilities, training, and an opportunity to apply to have their work exhibited in Graphic Studio Gallery.

Applications are in writing and must include:
– a cover letter stating why the candidate wishes to join Graphic Studio Dublin,
– an up to date CV (including all relevant professional experience listed in chronological order)
– and an artist’s statement.
– Applications must be accompanied by a portfolio (no larger than A1 in size) containing a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 of the applicants best pieces of original print work (no photographs or discs please) any extra information regarding the prints submitted is welcome and encouraged (dates, inspiration, etc.).

The portfolio and documents MUST be dropped into the studio, Distillery House, Distillery Court, 537 North Circular Road, Dubin 1 before the above deadline. Partial submissions will not be accepted.

Studio Space Available at EISIL Contemporary, Co. Waterford

EISIL Contemporary is a new art studio based just outside of Dungarvan town. There is currently a studio space available for a professional artist.

Studio space includes storage space and sink. Artists looking to use a studio space must apply for Eisil membership and meet the membership criteria. Membership is €60 a month.

Open Studio Group at Blackwatch Studio, Co Kilkenny

Opportunity for artists, budding artists, or just anyone interested in exploring their creative side, to come together once a week to make art, in a warm friendly studio environment, to support and inspire each other in developing their artwork.

This small group of artists have been working together for just over a year. There are still a couple of places remaining in this group which come together every Monday morning. An additional group will be set up at a time to be decided.

€25 per month to cover utilities, and tea/coffee/biscuits.
