Studio to Rent at GOMA Gallery of Modern Art, Waterford

The deadline for application: Monday 18 December, 4pm.

GOMA Gallery of Modern Art is offering a studio to rent on a six month rolling contract. The subsidised rent of each studio space is €60 per month. This covers rent, rates, electricity, heating, wifi and refuse.

Where artists contribute time to daily running of the galley, they will get credit for their rent. This will be refunded back to them at the end of each quarter at a maximum rate of €5 per week. This will be paid into their bank account.

Artists wishing to be considered should apply by emailing a proposal to The proposal is to give detail of your work and to include your CV. and images that best demonstrates your practice.

All artists are required to sign a contract. These contracts will be for 6 months and will be signed every 6 months.
There will be an annual review undertaken to ensure that the artists proposal and work is aligned to the ethos of GOMA.
Rent will need to be paid monthly in advance.
Standing orders are to be completed by all awarded artists.

RHA Studio Available from March 2018

The RHA School is offering a studio to rent for either a six-month or twelve-month slot beginning in March 2018. The studio space measures approximately 4.7m x 4.9m and is fully equipped with a sink and storage units. There is also a common room and kitchen facilities available. The studios have 24-hour secure access and are non-residential. The subsidised cost of each studio to the awarded artist is €200 per month, all heat and utility costs are included in this. Artists wishing to be considered should apply by completing the application on the RHA website.

Artist’s studio has recently become available at Kennedy Art. Situated above the shop this studio is bright and comfortable with both natural and artificial light.

A very comfortable working environment consisting of friendly, established and emerging artists. Located in the city centre, just minutes from Grafton street and some of Dublin’s best art museums. Also well situated amongst a wide selection of cafes and restaurants. Easy access to the Luas and several bus lines.

Studios Available at The Courthouse Gallery and Studios, Co. Clare

The Courthouse Gallery and Studios comprises of a gallery, a project space, four artists’ studios, a workshop space and a recording studio. It is located in Ennistymon, serving the region of North West Clare. The organisation is a registered charity and is funded on a not-for-profit basis by Clare County Council, LEADER, the Arts Council (project funding), and through self-realised fundraising.

Housed in a restored Georgian courthouse building, the four studios offer 24/7 access, are situated on the first floor (no lift), and have good natural light.

The Courthouse is now inviting applications from professional visual artists for occupancy of two of the studios, with a minimum licencing of three months, to a maximum term of 2 years and 9 months. Professional craft makers will also be considered.
Heat, light and broadband are included in the monthly fee of €150, payable in advance on the 1st of each month.

Studio Space Available in Limerick City Centre

Studio space available for an eleven month term in spacecraft artists studios, Limerick city centre. The space is one of eight in the open plan studio.

Each space measures 3m x 2m and members have 24 hour access.
Rent of €80 per month covers rent, rates and electricity. There is also a €40 security deposit.

Studios at Custom House Studios, Westport 2019/2020

Custom House Studios is an artist led studios and gallery in Westport Co Mayo Ireland hosting 7 studios, a print room and a gallery space, funded on a not-for-profit basis by Mayo County Council, POBAL, and The Arts Council of Ireland. These facilities are housed in a historic restored Customs House building on a prominent waterfront street in Westport, Co Mayo Ireland.

The studios are located up stairs overlooking the harbour with good daylight and 24hour access. The galleries are located on street level and upstairs, both with good daylight.

Artists are now invited to submit proposals for year long and short terms use of studios in the years 2019 and 2020.

Short-Term Studios Available To Let with QSS, Belfast

QSS invites applications for 13 short-term studio spaces at Norwich Union House, 1-7 Fountain St, Belfast, BT1 5EA. Studios will be available to rent from the beginning of December for 8 months (it is possible that this period will be extended subject to business negotiations).

QSS welcomes applications from emerging and more established artists by Wednesday 15th November 2017. All artists will be notified following the selection process and a site visit arranged for shortlisted artists. Please note that the Pop-up Studios are strictly non-commercial and solely for the production of art.
