Sample-Studios are currently accepting applications for membership at our new venue in Cork. We have a number of different membership options so you can be part of our community at a level that suits you.
Since our beginnings at Sullivan’s Quay, Cork in 2011, Sample-Studios have established a strong community and organisational structure and managed an extensive studio space and public programmes of events. We have now relocated to a purpose-designed facility where we will continue to expand our practices and networks.
Facilities include: Print and Textiles space with adjoining darkroom; Workshop space for large art projects, classes etc.; Multi-function bookable space for classes; rehearsals; meetings; photographing work; testing projections etc; Storage; Kitchen; Members Lounge & Tearoom; Parking; 24-hour secure access; broadband; computer room with full Adobe Creative Suite; Garden.

Creative Spark Print Studio Call for Members 2017

Creative Spark are now accepting members to their fully equipped Printmaking Studio for 2017 (membership starting from 25 February 2017).

Full Membership:

  • Unlimited studio access 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as a key holder(after a successful 3 month trial period)
  • Opportunity to be part of a community of printmakers.

Pallas Projects/Studios (since 1996) provides a dynamic and nuturing working environment, based in a converted school building located at the bottom of Francis Street, Dublin 8, just minutes walk from the National College of Art & Design, Christchurch and the city centre. We offer excellent, affordable spaces to both established and emerging Dublin-based artists working in the contemporary visual arts, for periods from 6 months to 3 years.
The studios feature: 24 hour access, off-street location with large communal outdoor area, secure and alarmed, large sash windows with excellent natural light in all studios, high-speed broadband, kitchen facilities, new wiring, and eco-friendly heating and lighting system. Studio members are featured on the PP/S website, which also features current and archived projects from our internationally recognised programme. Studio members can also avail of subsidised access to our project space.

Open Call Signal Arts Centre 2018

Signal Arts Centre is now accepting submissions for exhibitions in 2018.

When submitting your application please include the following;

· A submission proposal including title, covering what you would hope to exhibit if you are successful.
· A minimum of six images in digital format clearly marked with your name and title of picture. All images should be suitable for print reproduction (300dpi) jpeg format, not exceeding 5mb in size.
Include proposed sizes of work where possible and medium.
· Artists CV (art related only)
· Artist Statement (for PR purposes)

Office Space Available at Civic Trust House in Cork

An office space at Civic Trust House has become available. The historic house is owned by Cork City Council and provides office space for a number of Arts Organisations.

The available office can accommodate up to 4 small desks/workstations and benefits from all the facilities of the house as well as a seat on the management committee. Resident companies pay a quarterly contribution towards the costs of the house, which is inclusive of all services and maintenance. (nb. The office could be shared between more than one company and we have interest in sharing from at least one company already if this is of interest).

Facilities include: Receptionist and waiting area, Administrative support, use of Boardroom, Multifunctional Printer, Data Storage, Video Camera and editing software, Value telephony.

Call For Membership of Print Block Studio

Print Block Studio are a group of textile artists and designers who work enthusiastically with a shared vision to develop the Irish textile printing industry. They operate as a creative collective, participating in a variety of exhibitions and cultural events.

Their mission is to create opportunities for their members, to provide affordable access to a fully equipped professional textile printing facility in Ireland and to help develop the industry through education and workshops, whilst fostering professional networks between artists, designers and trade.

A limited number of memberships will become available in March 2017. Open to those who have experience of textile screen printing, an interest in holding a shared responsibility within a creative collective and are interested in joining Print Block.

Blackwatch Studio is situated just 7kms outside Kilkenny City, set in a peaceful rural location, with beautiful views to the Blackstairs mountains.

There are two loft style studio spaces available for rent, with a shared sink and running water, natural and florescent lighting to both.There is a shared area between the two studios with a desk and sofa. Downstairs there is a kitchen living area, equipped with fridge, microwave, hotplate,and toaster, there is a table and chairs, and sofa and armchairs to relax and enjoy lunch and coffee/tea breaks.

The rental for each studio is €45 per week plus electricity.

Studio Space for Rent at The Complex, Dublin 7

The Complex has a large studio available for rental immediately. It is situated in our city centre home here on Little Green Street, Dublin 7. The studio is bright, warm and very large. There is also a large communal area.

This studio is ideal for single occupancy or a share.

The overall rental cost includes electricity, wifi and heating. Access to the studios is from 8 am to 12 mid night but arrangements can be made to stay later. Studios are open 365 days per year.

The cost per month is €450.00.

Creative Exchange currently have a space available in their digital hub at £25 per month.

The studios feature: 24 hour access and security, heating, wifi, access to kitchen and toilet facilities, on-site parking and excellent convenient bus routes to city centre. Short term leases accepted and recent graduates welcome.

Studio members have a personal profile on the Creative Exchange website and can also avail of inclusion in the yearly exhibition and event programme. Creative Exchange offers subsidised studio space, supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
