Creative Exchange Artist Studios are moving to new and bigger premises in the Portview Trade Centre on the Newtownards Road, only 5 minutes from Belfast city centre. We are growing our membership and have a number of available spaces ranging from £50 – £100 per month for artists who work in the field of contemporary visual arts.

In addition to the larger studios we are creating a new Digital Hub that is designed to facilitate artists working in new media including video artists, photographers, artists working in graphics and web-based productions. Spaces at the Digital Hub are available on a short and long-term basis. A placement in the Hub will range from £25 per month for long-term or £35 per month for short-term leases.

Creative Exchange has been in existence since 1996 and is a Belfast based visual arts studio collective. We assist the professional practice and career development of artist members through the provision of dedicated studio space, shared marketing resources and the management of an annual arts programme The highlight of this years programme will be Art in the Eastside, which is a high profile public art project that will create 50 art billboards and temporary public art installations, delivered in the East Belfast Arts Festival in August.

The Print Point is inviting applications for membership to The Print Point studio, Barlow House, Drogheda.

The Print Point aspires to nurture and to further develop printmaking as a contemporary art form in the North- East of Ireland. By providing a professionally equipped print studio, run by artists, it aims to support emerging and established visual artists, to facilitate professional printmakers and to encourage an understanding of print amongst the general public.

The Print Point studio is housed in the artist studios in the yard at Barlow House, Drogheda. The studio facilities include, a large printing press with a bed size of 116 x 180 cm, drying racks, storage areas, some tools and supplies and 24hr access (after a trial period).

Pallas Projects/Studios, 115–117 The Coombe, Dublin 8

Applications are being taken for a studio at Pallas Projects/Studios. Beautiful corner studio in airy, high-ceiling partitioned space, 130 sq ft in size with an abundance of natural light. Cost: €220 p/m all inclusive.

Studios feature: 24 hour access, off-street location with large outdoors area, secure and alarmed, large sash windows with excellent natural light in all studios, with high-speed broadband, kitchen facilities, new wiring, heating and lighting system. The Pallas Projects/Studios studio complex provides a nurturing environment for artists, located in a converted school building at the bottom of Francis Street, Dublin 8, just minutes walk from NCAD, Christchurch and the city centre.

These affordable studio spaces are available to Dublin based artists, working in contemporary visual arts, for periods from 6 months to 3 years. Studio members are featured on the Pallas Projects website, which also hosts current and archived info on our internationally recognised exhibition programme. Studio members will also have subsidized access to our project space.

Custom House Studios, Westport, Co. Mayo

The Custom House Studios are now inviting submissions for use of studio space for 2013.

The Studios complex houses 7 artists studios with individual entrances, natural daylight and high ceilings, 24 hour access.The studios are located up stairs overlooking the harbour. All studios have daylight – and 24-hour access.
