Capacity Ireland is offering Erasmus+ funded work placements in Seville in the Creative Industries and Community Development sectors. The six positions are traineeships funded by Capacity Ireland through the Erasmus Plus ‘Vocational Education and Training’ programme. The 3-month programme includes a vocational course (entrepreneurial skills for the creative industries) and language training while in Spain. This is for an early January 2018 start. Flights to Seville will be on Saturday 13th January preceded by 2 days of preparatory training in Dublin on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th January. Requirements: Students are not eligible. Applicants must be currently residing within the Republic of Ireland.
Successful participants will be provided accommodation (including utilities and internet) and receive a monthly payment for living and travel costs that equates to 100 euros a week. In addition, their outgoing and return flights will be paid for by Capacity Ireland. Other than costs involved in attending preparation days in Dublin and making their own way to the airport, participants will not have to pay for other aspects of the programme.
The work placement at a creative employer in Seville will amount to no more than 30 hours a week and should provide valuable experience for young people looking to advance their career in this sector. Capacity Ireland’s Erasmus+ students live in the Macarena, an area of Sevilla just north of the largest remaining section of the old city walls.

- Weekly Spanish class with 3Si
- Monthly monitoring by Capacity Ireland and 3Si
