The Arts Council is the government agency for developing the arts in Ireland. The Arts Council work in partnership with artists, arts organisations, public policy makers and others to build a central place for the arts in Irish life. They currently have an exciting part-time opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Visual Arts and Architecture team.

Hours: Part-time .5 (18.5 hrs. per week)
The Visual Arts and Architecture Officer will be involved in a wide range of activities including:
- managing the team’s work plan and capacity planning;
- researching and drafting policies/proposals;
- leading on/providing support to team project initiatives;
- training/supporting team members.
Specifically, the Visual Arts and Architecture Officer will provide support and co-ordinate activities with a designated focus on Visual Arts and Architecture to deliver the team and corporate plans in support of the Arts Council Strategy: Making Great Art Work: Developing the Arts in Ireland.
