The National College of Art and Design, Dublin is Ireland’s leading provider of art and design education. NCAD is based on Thomas Street in Dublin’s city centre and has a community of 1,500 undergraduate, postgraduate and part-time students engaged in a wide range of study and research across the disciplines of Design, Education, Fine Art and Visual Culture. NCAD has been the most significant provider of art and design education in Ireland for over 250 years and is a Recognised College of University College Dublin.
The role will require the ability to work closely within the academic teaching and technical team in the delivery of the programme.
The applicant will be expected to have a broad and particular working knowledge of a range of contemporary print and graphic media as appropriate to contemporary art practice and the ability to combine both conceptual and practical dimensions of the programme. The candidate would be expected to have a significant active and ongoing professional art practice underpinned by research interests relevant to the subject of print and graphic media. The candidate will be able to teach in School teams and in interdisciplinary contexts.
Assistant Lecturer: €42,499 – €52,723 per annum
Assistant Lecturer (new entrant): €38,349 – €52,723 per annum
