Young at Art is Northern Ireland’s leading children’s arts provider. The successful candidate will work as part of a core staff team, reporting directly to the Director. S/he will undertake general management duties for this small but busy arts charity, with a social economy trading arm and a creative writing charitable company (approximate turnover £500,000).
The postholder will be responsible for the general and operational management and fundraising needs of Young at Art and its companies. S/he will cover policy and procedure oversight, operational delivery of all projects including the annual international festival in March, and a range of engagement activities.
This is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to bring organisational and leadership skills to a thriving and exciting creative business. Their work will have a direct effect on the achievement of the companyʼs vision and strategy.
Location: Company offices (Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter) with off-site activity (meetings, etc)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 (based on experience)
Contract: This is a permanent full-time position. A probationary period will apply.
