National Museums NI is currently recruiting a Head of Creative Engagement. The creation of this role is integral to their transformational change programme focussed on establishing an operating model with a much more integrated focus on audiences and greater long term sustainability. It is a key role within the new Senior Management Team structure.
This post will play a key role in the development and delivery of the organisation’s collections access and interpretation strategies in order to maximise engagement with new and existing audiences. The role is also critical in providing effective leadership for the visitor engagement teams across all the museum sites in the provision of quality interpretative programmes and an excellent visitor experience. As part of the senior leadership team within National Museums NI the post holder will also play a key role in the organisation’s culture change programme and team development.
