Open Call | The Burren Art Group Residency

Application deadline: Friday 8 December

The Burren Art group are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for artists in Clare. As part of the group launch, up to 6 flexible short-term studio residencies will be offered during December 2017 (of approximately 2 days) in a former church in Kilkeedy on the edge of the Burren. There is no cost to the artist and all art materials will be provided, along with tea and coffee. Participants will have the chance to network with each other as well as focus on their own work, which can if they wish be included in a future group exhibition.

Applications by e-mail please to andrewwaterhouse@eircom.net which should include your contact details, samples of work and relevant experience. Also a short statement outlining how you feel you could benefit from and contribute to the project, or a youtube link if you prefer.

The Burren Art particularly welcome applications from emerging artists in the early stage of their career as well as those who do not have traditional art qualifications in order to encourage inclusivity and diversity.

The Burren Art Group would like to gratefully acknowledge the support of Creative Ireland 2017 and Clare Arts Office.
