An exhibition of over twenty unique and handcrafted baskets by expert willow artist Louise McLean.
As part of August Craft Month, we are delighted to present this exhibition by expert basket maker and willow artist Louise McLean of Atlantic Craft NI. An award winning artist who has featured on television,radio and magazines, Louise is based in Portrush and her work is influenced by our stunning coastline, rugged landscape and heritage.

In 2005, Louise entered and won ITV’s ‘Britain’s Craftiest’ competition, and since then she exhibits and retails her work internationally as well as undertaking substantial community projects, sharing her willow weaving and basketry skills with children and adults alike. Louise has been a finalist in the RTE Craft Master TV series and also worked on the Queen’s Coronation willow arches in 2013.
