Selected new work by Gary Shaw. Working under the pseudonym of Byte Marx, this selection of new work uses digital imaging to create a visual commentary on the socio-political malaise in Northern Ireland and beyond. Through a deliberate use of parody the work promotes an alternative reality through the strange juxtaposition of people, objects, materials, textures and apparatus. Subtle visual metaphors offer a heightened, distorted and thought provoking view of the world.
