Martin de Porres Wright, Irish abstract painter and sculptor, and artist-in-residence at Building 98 for the months of March through May, exhibits his installation “Tumbleweed”, of work primarily created in Marfa, in the Ballroom of the historic Building 98, formerly the Bachelor Officers Quarters and Officers Club of Fort D.A. Russell.
Wright graduated with a Diploma in Art Direction and Design from Rathmines College, Dublin. He spent his creative working life in advertising and design and is an Irish national and international winning art director and designer. During the last four decades, Wright developed and executed creative ideas in film, theatre, photography, design and exhibitions.
