Ros Tapestry Exhibition Centre, The Quay, New Ross, Co. Wexford
The Ros Tapestry project is an artistic undertaking involving over a hundred and fifty people working over eighteen years. This exhibition consists of fifteen large embroidered panels telling the story of the Normans and their arrival in South East of Ireland. This epic story is brought to life through thread and its’s a must see. It is arguably the largest tapestry panel of its kind in Europe and is indeed a cultural gift for many generations.
