5 to 18 December
2018 will be a major international centenary with main events planned to take place in the EU and UK, as well as Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand. In Ireland, artistic and cultural responses to the centenary of WW1 Armistice will follow suit from last year’s centenary programme success.
This body of work joins the larger discourse on the Irish perspective and identity among international voices. Presented in a local context, it will be accompanied by 3-week programme of events, including public talks, guided tours, school and community groups workshops.
This project is supported by KCC Arts Service and Creative Ireland funding.
