The Epic Awards celebrate the achievement of creative groups across the UK and Republic of Ireland, by recognising the skill, innovation and hard work that goes into their activities. The annual awards are a chance to shine a spotlight on the excellent volunteer-led activities that take place in local communities all year round.
The Epic Awards have been running since 2010 and projects recognised with awards over the years have included ukulele groups, community festivals, a nativity play and a feature film. The aim is to reward the dedication, enthusiasm and creativity of your projects regardless of the art form or scale of the activities.
Voluntary Arts would be delighted to receive entries from all across the UK and Republic of Ireland, representing the full range of creative activities that we know take place in our communities. If you can share this opportunity with your networks, it would be greatly appreciated. Previous entrants are strongly encouraged to enter again and share the projects, events and moments that made their year memorable.
Winners and runners-up for each of the four national awards will be invited to join Voluntary Arts and other partners and supporters at the Epic Awards 2018 ceremony in Dublin in May 2018.
