126 Artist-Run Gallery Seeks Applications for Co-Directors (Voluntary Position)

126 Artist-run Gallery (Galway) is delighted to announce an open call for three new board of Directors members for the 2019-2021 term. This is an unpaid voluntary position. It is also a fantastic opportunity for artists and curators to join 126 as they begin to programme for Galway’s year as European Capital of Culture in 2020.

Directors will have an opportunity should they wish to curate an exhibition, develop a series of events or other relevant ideas. Please include and such desires in your application. For further information please see the full description below.

Place of work: 15 St Bridget’s Place, Hidden Valley, Woodquay, Galway
Reports to: Co-Directors
Duration: Two-year voluntary post with 3 month trial period.
Salary: This is a voluntary position.
Hours of work: Varies depending on projects. At least one regular day, on average 6-12 hours per week, mainly Wednesday to Sunday. Flexible working, including evenings and weekends, will be required. Attendance at weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings is mandatory.
