Get Together 2023, VAI’s National Day for Visual Artists

“Connecting Minds, Cultivating Relationships”

VAI’s National Day for networking, professional development, discussions, and the sharing of ideas and knowledge within the visual arts returns featuring panel discussions, webinars, artist talks, and opportunities to hear artists discussing their ideas and work.

ARTISTS INITIATING CHANGE

It is our belief that we, visual artists, challenge societal norms and inspire transformation through our creative endeavours. It is also our belief that we must continue to challenge galleries, museums, and spaces to represent the broad and rich spectrum of work taking place across Ireland. No matter what discipline or materials that form our practices, it is our powerful work that serves as the catalyst for dialogue, fosters empathy, and prompts critical reflection, ultimately driving positive shifts in culture, perceptions, and the world at large. Over these two days we will reflect on this and hear from a variety of experts both from home and abroad.
