About The Walls Project:
The Walls Project is a creative arts agency known for delivering large-scale public and private outdoor artworks across Ireland and Europe. Our mission is to connect artists, communities, and partners through dynamic public art projects that foster inclusion, creativity, and regeneration. We run a wide variety of initiatives including the annual Waterford Walls – Ireland’s largest international street art festival – as well as commissions, workshops and consultancy.
Role:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Partnerships and Marketing Coordinator to help us grow our network of clients, partners, and supporters. This is a newly created role for a six-month period, designed to build capacity as our organisation enters a new phase of growth.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator and strategic thinker with strong visual and written communication skills. You’ll support the Executive Director in developing partnership proposals and materials, researching and engaging potential clients and sponsors, and promoting our creative work and values to wider audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify prospective partners, sponsors, clients, and funding opportunities across the private and public sectors.
Support the Executive Director in approaching and developing relationships with prospective clients and sponsors.
Create compelling decks, proposals, and presentations tailored to various audiences (e.g., corporate clients, public sector partners, sponsors).
Work with the team to build and maintain a strong pipeline of partnership opportunities.
Assist in refining our partnership offer and sponsorship packages, drawing on existing work and identifying new opportunities.
Collaborate with our marketing team (internal and / or external) to align partnership development with ongoing campaigns.
Build and maintain CRM / client tracking and relationship management systems.
Contribute to content creation as needed, particularly when related to showcasing partnership outcomes.
Monitor, evaluate and report progress against targets.
Person Specification:
A relevant qualification and/or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role (e.g. fundraising, business development, partnership marketing, or communications).
Proven experience building relationships with clients, sponsors, funders.
Strong written and visual communication skills (e.g., proposal writing, pitch decks, presentations).
A flair for storytelling and translating creative work into language and formats that appeal to partners and sponsors.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with CRM systems, presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Canva, etc.).
Knowledge of or interest in the arts, creative industries, or community-based work is desirable.
Part-time role, contract.
Salary €39k pro-rata.
