Description

We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Cultural Arts Office on a 9-month maternity cover contract, working 4 days per week.

This role is based in the Office of the Director of Engagement and would suit someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

Key aspects of the role:

    • Contract: 9 months (maternity cover), 0.8 FTE (4-day week)  starting September 2025.
    • Salary: Professional 3 scale – €41,552 to €51,798  (Pro rata)

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day admin support to the Cultural Arts Office
  • Diary and venue management, handling enquiries, permits, and bookings
  • Supporting cultural events and programme delivery
  • Coordinating web and social media content (website, newsletter, Instagram)
  • Liaising with DCU communications teams and supporting PR for events
  • Assisting with the Artists in Residence programme and internal liaison
  • Supporting grant applications and reporting
