Get Together 2025 | Speed Curating, and Clinics Booking

The ever popular Speed Curating & Clinics return at Get Together 2025. VAI members attending Get Together can book one on one sessions with curators and specialists

You must be a member and have a General Admission Ticket to be able to access Speed Curating and/or Clinics.

General Admission Tickets are: €30 for VAI members (Professional, Associate, Organisational and Friends – Strictly one per member), and TU Dublin Students; €100 for non VAI members.

Members who wish to purchase additional tickets for non-members can do so at the full price.

Speed Curating

Artists will have 10 minutes to talk about what they’re working on, or introduce the curators to their practice. This fast-paced but friendly environment offers a chance for curators to meet artists they might never have come across, or to see new bodies of work in development. Multiple exhibitions and working relationships have developed from VAI’s Speed Curating events.

Note: There is a 3 appointment limit per artist. This means that you should only book up to three appointments.

Speed Curating and Clinics are VAI Members only events.

Curators and Specialists bios are available by clicking the link beside their name.

In previous years, artists have overbooked which has led to a large amount of administration work during a very busy and hectic period of preparation for Get Together and preventing other artists from making appointments for curators that they wished to see. For this reason, any member who books more than 3 appointments per service will have all of their appointments cancelled for the overbooked service, will lose all appointments, and their money will be refunded. We are sorry if this appears harsh, but it is caused by members in previous years ignoring our instruction and impacting on other members being able to make bookings.

To Make a Booking

Choose a Service (Speed Curating or Specialist Clinics)

  • Click on the service you want to book.

Select a Provider

  • Browse the list of available people, review their bios to ensure that they fit your need and have an interest in your style of practice.

Pick a Time

  • Choose a time slot that works for you. If no time slots appear with your chosen provider, this means they are fully booked out.

Enter Your Details

  • If this is your first time making a booking, Create an account. (Sign Up and Continue) Please note this booking system is separate to your Members Login, so you should select “Sign Up & Continue” to create a new profile for this booking system.
  • Fill in your name, email, and phone number.

Confirm Your Booking

  • Review the booking summary.
  • To make another booking, return to the booking page. (Add Another Service)
  • Select another service, provider, or time slot.
  • Repeat the same steps: fill in your details and confirm.
  • Review that you have no more than 3 Speed Curating appointments, and/or no more than 3 Specialist clinics.
  • When finished Click Confirm (or Book Now) and your payment details will be taken and processed.
