Description
Day 1:Using graphite and polychromo colour pencils, observation from life will be from loose light tones to darker shadows, and finishing details using line and crosshatching. Day 2:Using a toned charcoal ground, the figure will be made to emerge by rubbing back to halftones and highlights, with the white of the paper being the brightest value. Onwards, willow charcoal and charcoal pencils can help readjust the range of tones, details and shadows in the process.
