Ronan Lyons
Ronan Lyons is a co-founder and director of the Molesworth Gallery in Dublin. The gallery takes a long-term approach to representing artists, working with them through multiple exhibitions and career milestones. Artists typically have solo shows every two years, alongside international exposure via art fairs and collaborations with cultural institutions. The gallery also publishes catalogues and hardback books to accompany exhibitions. Through its membership of the Contemporary Art Gallery Association, the Molesworth works to raise the profile and sustainability of the visual arts sector, engaging with public bodies, collectors and the media. A graduate of Trinity College, Lyons previously worked as a staff journalist with The Economist Group. He is also the author of a novel, Lead White, set in the London contemporary art world
that was described as ‘glitteringly smart’ by The Irish Times, and ‘wickedly entertaining’ by The Sunday Independent.
