Artists’ Studios & Collectives: A platform to build your practice (27 Nov)
Artists’ collectives play a vital role in shaping and sustaining visual arts practice, offering shared resources, peer support, and a platform for experimentation and growth. This webinar will explore the benefits and challenges of working collectively, unpacking how collaborative structures can strengthen artistic development, create opportunities, and foster resilient creative communities.
Through presentations and discussion, our speakers will reflect on their own experiences of collective practice—what has worked, what they’ve learned, and how these models can support you in building and sustaining your practice.
We are delighted to be joined by artists Joanna Kidney and Beatrice O’Connell, Sarah McKenna, ceramist and founding member of Bridge Street Studios, and Jane Morrow, Co-Director of PS².
Whether you are already part of a collective, considering forming one, or curious about how they operate, this session will offer valuable insight and practical guidance.
Speaker biographies to follow.
