Workshop | Cyanotype and Polaroid Emulsion Lifts with Michael Gannon at the Linenhall Arts Centre
A two-part workshop with visual artist Michael Gannon – it begins with an introduction to the cyanotype photographic process. The cyanotype process, a historical photographic technique dating back to 1842, utilises light-sensitive solutions to produce striking blue-hued images. In the second workshop, attendees will be introduced to polaroid emulsion lifts, a compelling photographic technique that allows artists and photographers to separate the emulsion layer of a Polaroid photograph from its substrate, enabling the creation of unique, translucent images on various surfaces. Taking place: Sat, 22 November 2025 & Sat, 17 January 2026.
