Call for Participants: Connected Horizons Programme

Are you an artist based in Galway, Kerry, Meath, Offaly or Tyrone? Join VAI’s Connected Horizons Programme to connect with fellow artists, receive constructive feedback, and engage with leading arts organisations.

Programme Overview

  • Session 1: Show & Tell with Organisations (Tuesday 3rd March, Online)Meet key arts organisations (126 Artist-Run Gallery & Studios, Siamsa Tíre, Solstice Arts Centre, Esker Arts, Strule Arts Centre)
  • Session 2: Online Peer Critique (Tuesday 10th March, Online)A structured, moderated critique session for in-depth feedback.
  • Session 3: In-Person Clinics & Networking (Wednesday 25th March, VAI Dublin)Meet peers and facilitators for networking and one-on-one clinics. Limited to 20 places, first come, first served.

Event 3: In-Person Clinics & Networking (Wed 25th March, VAI Dublin)

This is the third and final event in the Connected Horizons Programme, bringing together participants for in-person networking. Hosted at the VAI offices in Dublin, this session offers:

  • A soft lounge area for informal networking and discussions with attending arts organisations, other artists and VAI staff.
  • Coffee, tea, and nibbles available throughout the session.

Who Can Join?

Artists in any discipline based in Galway, Kerry, Meath, Offaly or Tyrone.

*Maximum of 2 one-one clinics per artist*

WEBINARS and ONLINE EVENTS: We use Zoom to host our online events. If you have not used Zoom before, we recommend that you read the following text and ensure that you have tested it out before registering for a Webinar. The following text should be followed and tested before registering for a Cafe or Help Desk Event. Zoom have an excellent Help Desk service if you are experiencing problems.

VAI works in partnership with Local Authorities, visual arts venues and others, combining resources to support the professional development of visual artists at regional level.
