Workshop | Bookbinding for Artists with Elize De Beer at Cork Printmakers

The workshop is perfect for artists who wants to learn bookbinding techniques to add to their artistic practice. On the first day you will learn a series of pamphlet, folded and non-adhesive bindings, taking you through the basics of bookbinding concepts, techniques, tools, and materials. On the second day, you will learn how to bind a traditional hardcover notebook, applying all the techniques learned on the first day. Throughout the weekend we will discuss how these different techniques can add to your current artistic practice. No previous experience required. All tools and materials are provided.
