Fees or costs for the artist
We have received seed funding from Creative Ireland via Waterford City and County Council. This means that we can currently offer free accommodation, food and local transport to the invited guests. We do not offer a stipend or cover travel costs. We are happy to issue an official letter of invitation if you would like to apply elsewhere for funding to cover your travel costs. You will need some spending money if you will be partaking in some Guinness or extravagant meals out!

Description

TALAMH NUA is a new artist residency at The Art Hand on The Copper Coast in Waterford, Ireland. Environmentally conscious artists and creatives from near and far will stay and create in the area. Residencies will take place throughout the year, hosting one or occasionally two guests at a time. Local artists and members of the public will be invited by each of the TALAMH NUA residents to a public event during their stay.
