Workshop | Landscape and Memory with Frances Ryan at the Artform School of Art

This is a workshop about how emotional attachment to certain landscapes can influence ideas and process, from initial research to the final work. The group guided by Frances will spend time exploring the immediate surroundings of Artform seaside studio and based on this research will develop themes through the use of water-based media and collage. Time will be given to experimental drawing exercises, collaborative studio work, demonstrations and individual tuition. The course takes place in the beautiful Artform modern light-filled studio with 24hr access for each visiting artist, and around the seaside village of Dunmore East.
