Workshop | Portraiture with Gareth Reid at the Schoolhouse for Art

We’re delighted to welcome Gareth back to the Schoolhouse for Art this summer for an intensive and inspiring portrait drawing workshop. Focusing on observation, structure, tone, and expressive mark-making, the course encourages students to draw with both rigour and freedom. Through lively demonstrations and practical exercises, participants will learn to loosen up, work confidently from life, and create portraits that feel solid, sensitive, and full of character all in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
