Workshop | Paint Don’t Paint with Anne Ryan at Artform

How to keep ideas and work in the studio fresh and fun? Sometimes, making a space where you can stop thinking and just ‘make’ helps. Like Gainsborough or Tintoretto before, we will experiment with building sets combining them with textiles, found objects and collage, mixing up the scale, using a variety of materials and populating these structures with figures and objects.

We will light the scene, photograph and video it. We will make drawings and studies from them and use them to make paintings. The course takes place in Artform modern seaside studio with 24hr access for each artist.
