Workshop | How to make a shirt with Alexandre Caretti at Temple Bar Gallery

You will learn how to draw a garment of your choice – such as a shirt, pair of trousers, socks, hat, or shorts – on a large sheet of paper. Using a collection of photographs and objects gathered by the artist, you will then create your own unique pattern for your item of clothing. Add your uniquely patterned piece of clothing to the textile artwork created by the artist in the Gallery or add to your own collection of patterns and objects at home. Together everyone can add their story and identity through the patterned clothing leaving their imprint on the gallery.
