Description
This commission combines an Artist in Residence programme with the creation of a permanent public artwork.
Located within an estate undergoing regeneration, Shannon Valley presents an opportunity for artists with experience in socially engaged practice to work collaboratively with residents and local stakeholders. The Artist in Residence element will play a central role in shaping the project, ensuring that community participation and creative engagement are at the heart of the commission.
The project is being delivered in partnership with Creative Places Ballaghaderreen, with €15,000 specifically allocated to support the residency programme.
