A Fresh Approach to Watercolours with John Short at Artform, Co. Waterford

This course will allow each student to visually explore an aspect of the location of Dunmore East through drawing and watercolour. Its a mini personal project for each student. The village has many aspects of visual interest from architecture, people, landscape and seascape but we will be looking at creating images that are not predictable. It will be challenging and fun.

You will be encouraged to experiment with new ways of looking and creating images. The structure is very simple and follows a process of research, discussion, demonstration, studio/location work and presentation.

In teaching workshops I also participate in project work with the group to demonstrate the process of working on location and studio, not to show you how to do it but other ways to look, think and do.

* Note – course cost does not include accommodation. Artform also provides an artist accommodation package.
Details on art materials required to participate in the course will be provided after signing up to the course.
