Description
Dear all,
Gathering interested parties for an anti-disciplinary art, science & communication collective with some PhD students at Queen’s Biological School. The aim is to create an environment where people can talk about their research / projects in a relaxed,  and dialogue-driven way.
The club will start with a series of fun ice-breaker games to get to know each other and what drives the passion for our research/ practice. Then it would move on to discuss examples of art & science, outreach projects or pieces of science communication— from controversial CRISPR bullet proof skin to mesmerising TED talks. Potentially leading to a crit group for science outreach/ communication/ art-science projects … without pressure for collaboration or having to take an active role.
