ABOUT THE COURSE
In this intricate workshop you will be guided through the process of converting your own full colour photographic image into an edition of full colour screen prints. You will be shown how to prepare a file in Adobe Photoshop and how to realise your design through four screen printed layers.
The image that you bring to the class could be anything from a figurative portrait, a landscape, to an abstract colourful painting – A great opportunity to advance your knowledge of image processing and printing.
What is CMYK / The Four Colour Process?
CMYK printing is a process where by you can print four colours (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) to achieve a full spectrum of colour in a print. Together we will separate your design into four layers. Each layer will be halftoned through a very specific processt and printed with semi transparent inks which will combine to simulate every colour of the rainbow!

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
A laptop with Adobe Photoshop Installed – any version.
An A5 finished photographic design in PSD format or saved as JPG at 300dpi.
Previous screen printing experience is necessary.
