Japanese Black Ink Painting Residential Weekend Workshop for Beginners at Tigh Roy Ionad Cultúrtha, Glen of Aherlow: Learn brushstrokes and techniques for painting grasses, flowers, trees, mountains and landscapes. Japanese Black Ink Painting is a unique art form using only black ink, handmade paper and a special brush. It is a calming and relaxing activity.

A deeply relaxing Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound Bath will take place (with Jo-Anne MacMillan, BA, MA) at 8am before the Saturday Japanese Black Ink Painting class (11am-5.30pm) followed by a visit to Tigh Roy’s traditional Finnish wood-burning sauna. Sunday’s class will run from 10am-4.30. Healthy home-cooked meals are also included.
No materials required, use of materials is included.
