This is a new opportunity for an Assistant Curator to contribute to the curatorial development and management of a wide range of exhibitions, commissions and collection displays and to Tate’s acquisition strategy with specific reference to contemporary British art. Projects include major monographic exhibitions, the Art Now programme and the annual Tate Britain Commission in the Duveens Galleries.
The successful applicant will have a firm interest in expanding and diversifying accounts of recent British art history to prioritise a commitment to surfacing artists, especially those overlooked by the canon, as well as those who contribute to new art historical narratives around transnational exchange.
