Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival
Taking place 22nd February – 5th March 2023, the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland’s premier film festival event. The Festival curates and presents the best in emerging international and Irish film for a wide audience through its annual festival. In 2023, the Festival will present a hybrid festival with films screened in cinemas and online.
Job: Events Co-Ordinator
Start Date: 8th August 2022
Reporting to Festival Director
Salary €500 per week
Liaise with the Festival Director on delivery of the public and industry series of events for the 2023 Festival.
Design and deliver of both public and industry focused events as part of the festival
Co-ordinate the First Frame film student programme and related Education events
Liaise with Filmmaker in Residence on Screen8 short film production
Co-ordinate Screener Programme
With Festival Director assign juries for all competitions
Work with marketing and publicity teams regarding promotion and marketing materials for all events
Deliver detailed itineraries and budgets for each event
Complete detailed reports on each event
Extensive film knowledge
Event Management experience.
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent excel and word skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
