Creative Lives is a non-profit organisation that champions community and volunteer-led creative activity. We work to improve opportunities for everyone to be creative and, in particular, celebrate and promote people expressing themselves creatively with others, recognising the benefits this brings to both individuals and communities.
Following a successful bid to The Arts Council’s Capacity Building Support Scheme, Creative Lives has embarked on an exploration of its potential to generate income from a range of sources across Ireland. Charity sector specialists 2into3 have worked with us to scope and assess options that might be most suitable or sustainable for our organisation. This consultative process has given us an excellent, well researched plan from which to start actively pursuing more diverse and stable sources of income.
We are now in a position to recruit an experienced fundraising development specialist on a freelance basis to put this plan into action. Working closely with our Ireland Director, our Finance & HR Director, and our trustees, we hope to contract someone with a strong understanding of the charity sector in Ireland and experience of creating new income streams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of work with a range of sectors, including large corporates, commercial sponsors, the cultural sector and the voluntary and community sectors. They will be an exceptional communicator who can build relationships and speak on behalf of our organisation while also being a skilled bid writer.
To apply for this role, please send a CV and a short record of previous relevant fundraising development work in Ireland to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm, Friday 17 June 2022.
After initial assessment, there may be a shortlisting process and candidates may be invited to a short interview via Zoom to discuss their suitability.
Creative Lives is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and abilities in line with our policies.
