At this time due to the corona restrictions opportunities to exhibit and work in gallery spaces and museums are limited. We want to support artists with an open platform to create and expose their artwork. Therefore, Perron West and Lucrative Dumpster Dives (LDD) are collaborating together to offer artists and makers in Utrecht an open-air space with the opportunity to experiment, exhibit and engage with a wider audience.
Starting this summer 2020, they will invite four artists and artists collaborations to join a two-month outdoor residency program to make public and interactive art works. In doing this, they will be inspired by their interactions with the local Lombok community and the rest materials provided by LDD.
The artists and makers are selected by means of this open call. So, send your CV, portfolio and website links. Also attach a letter explaining what inspirations you have for this opportunity and what you would like to do during the residency. Be sure to check out all the details on their websites. The deadline is July 19th 2020.
