Now Available | Understanding UK Artists’ Livelihoods: The 2024 Survey from the Centre for Creative Economies
This report presents the findings from the Artists’ Livelihoods 2024 Survey, undertaken by Coventry University’s Centre for Creative Economies (CCE) for Creative United, with the financial support of Creative Scotland and Arts Council England.
It provides an evidence base that quantifies earnings from artistic production by artists, distinct from other forms of employment or income support mechanisms. It captures visual artists income through the sale of their work and examines how this relates to wider livelihoods, including total artistic, personal, and household earnings.
