Description

Course: We are pleased to introduce our unique course at University College Cork – Adult Continuing Education (ACE), the first university-accredited program worldwide focused on neurodiversity in the arts and creative sector.
This is a Level 6 Continuing Professional Development Certificate, offered as a 12-week online course through Adult Continuing Education (ACE) at UCC. The course was designed by Eleanor McSherry for Safe to Create (https://www.safetocreate.ie/) and is financially supported by Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet.

Who is this course for?
Developed by creative professionals and content creators, this course is tailored for the creative industries. It is intended for company leaders, directors, producers, managers, teams (including those involved in festivals and events), writers, practitioners, artists, administrative officers, creative directors, project coordinators, festival organisers, and anyone interested in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace and the broader creative sector.
This course is ideal for those seeking to understand neurodiversity and its relevance to creative work, content, and practice. Participants will explore the presence of neurodiversity in the creative industry, its history, and the associated strengths, challenges, and perspectives.
