Description

Learn the techniques of the Old Masters and imbue your drawings with quality and tradition.

This 8-week drawing course will show you the age-old principles, practices and techniques of drawing in a range of different media. Starting with Old Masters like Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael, you will learn an approach to drawing that helps you to see and draw more easily and with greater understanding, transferring your subject onto paper through a series of simple, logical and sequential steps.

The course provides a comprehensive and practical study of drawing methods, techniques, media and materials. It is designed to develop your visual awareness by unpacking the building blocks of picture-making in general, and by showing you the perceptual principles that underpin our ability to see, interpret, and record the visual world around us.

I will be bringing you lots of exclusive bonus content, including sketching and drawing videos on location around Italy, museum insights, behind-the-scenes footage at paper mills like Fabriano and cast production workshops like Felice Calchi.

All live online classes will be recorded so you’ll never miss one! For anyone who’s done one of my courses in the past, this course is entirely new with fresh and original content.
