Veronica Nicholson has been a photographic artist and educator for over 30 years. Having worked for many years in darkrooms developing and printing film, she moved to working with a ‘digital darkroom’ in 2003. She says about Photoshop: “Just like you don’t stop at the negative stage in film but you must make a print, so it is with digital. You don’t stop with the file on the camera, you must take it to the next level by processing and editing your image. This is essential to bring out the best in your photograph.”
