Description

Protest-Zine Making Workshop

Join us for a fun online zine-making workshop where art meets activism. Whether you’re a seasoned illustrator, a writer, or totally new to zines, this 90-minute session will give you the tools to express resistance, solidarity, and vision through small self-published works. Led by Camilla Fanning, whose artist books, zines and collage works have been featured in curated exhibitions in Ireland and abroad, this workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.

You’ll learn:

  • A brief history of protest zines
  • How to create your own folded paper zine
  • creative visual storytelling using simple materials, collage and pen
  • Zine design planning for easy reproduction

This workshop is ideal for:

  • Artists, designers, creatives
  • Grassroots organizers and social changemakers
  • Anyone curious about DIY publishing with purpose

No experience needed. Just bring paper, scissors, glue, pens, and your voice.

Let’s publish our protest, one fold at a time: Speak up. Make art. Be heard!
