Artist Support Scheme 2026 Guidelines
Objectives of the Artist Support Scheme
The objective of this scheme is to assist individual artists to develop their arts practice and artistic career. The scheme is open to professional artists living in County Galway at all stages of their career, working in any artform and context. Deadline for applications is 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday 03 February 2026.

Assessment Criteria:
Artistic merit and track record of the applicant.
Quality of the proposal.
Financial and project feasibility.
Benefit to the applicant’s practice.
Adherence to the Artist Support Scheme guidelines.
A shortlisting process may be put in place if we receive a large number of applications.
