The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club (founded 1874) is pleased to announce its fifth Open Submission process. Non-members are invited to submit paintings for the Club’s 2020 exhibition, which will be held in the Town Hall Space, Windmill Lane Quarter, Creighton St., City Quay, Dublin from 15th March to the 29th March.
Within the broad genre of representational art, all mediums and styles are represented in the exhibition. Up to two paintings can be submitted
Please note: There is no artist fee paid to selected artists. The submission fee for one painting is €10 and for two paintings is €15. Normally, for each submitting artist, only one painting will be selected for exhibition. A prize will be awarded for the painting, selected as the best Open Submission painting exhibited.
The submission fee is to cover the costs of the selection panel. The DPSC cover the costs of the Exhibition rental, installation, printing and advertising. There is a 30% commission on sales.
Initially, artists must submit their work as digital images. These can be JPEG or TIFF with a file size of approx. 1.0Mb but no greater than 1.5Mb, and they should be sent to: email@example.com
