Screen service is a new service oriented artist collective. We act as an agent for emergent experimental media arts practices. We are committed to providing a platform for experimentation, exposure and archiving for early career artists in or from Ireland whose practices are screen-led or digital process-driven.
We host projects that take the form of online screenings, virtual residencies, published texts and other forms of exhibition and promotion. We also facilitate artist collaboration and skill share functions.
Who we support:
We support artists working with moving image, multimedia installation, VR/AR, web based work, expanded cinema and any other screen-led or digital practices, including writers focusing on these mediums, in or from Ireland.
We recognise the importance of inclusivity, and aim to provide space for active, non-exclusionary gathering.
This collective is peer managed by practicing artists Ellen O’Connor and Bronagh Gallagher.
